Our Studio Project !

I have been a photographer for years and a few years ago started getting into video and video editing, and I was shocked at the costs.
Even beginner gear (camera and editing computer with software) can cost hundreds if not thousands of pounds.
Many people would love to get into the area of video and or editing, but it’s just out of reach for a lot of them due to cost and somewhere to record videos and edit them.

Some studios can seem daunting for beginners as they are set up for professionals.
Our studio will be different. We will be running courses for everyone to build their confidence within the media scene. And offering one to one help and advice to get you on the right track.
We will also be running “how to stream” sessions showing people how to get their ideas out on the internet live without just using a smartphone.

So, I am starting a crowdfunding project to set up studio premises that will be accessible to all.
High-quality equipment, Cameras, lighting, green screen, editing computers (with secure storage) for people of all ages to come in and use to create their own unique story.

This will be open to anyone and everyone to either come and learn how to use a camera, or professionals who can use the space to show their skills.

As part of this funding effort we are also in talks with equipment manufacturers to see if we can get some support with equipment or software.

I want this studio to be available to everyone, from someone who wants to make a 5-minute video saying Merry Christmas to family and friends to groups making their first-ever film idea.

Studio will be in the Walsall/Birmingham area West Midlands UK

I believe that starting this studio project could spark the enthusiasm in people for the photo and video producers of the future.
